Letter addressed to Zuzu Angel regarding the production of “Zuleikinha” dolls and the script for a television show. José Maurício Vidal Gomes journalist from the State of Minas Gerais, a close friend of Zuzu Angel.

[Manuscript about the Zuleikinhas production]

Pen manuscript, possibly produced by Hildegard Angel , describing the production process of the Zuleikinhas. Zuzu Angel sent fabrics as a donation to her sister in Belo Horizonte who, in turn, donated them to an old lady named Maria Lourdes Costa, who crafted little dolls/witches and sold them on a small on “Praça da Liberdade” (Liberty square) in central Belo Horizonte. After Zuzu’s death, Hildegard Angel acquired some dolls.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed in a white lace t-shirt and skirt that mixes prints in red and white polka dot. The waist and hem have a patterned print in yellow, dark green and dark blue, with a white lace frill on the hemline. The dolls hair is yellow and is tied up on the top of the dolls head with a gold ribbon.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed in a white t-shirt and skirt with a patterned angel print in light pink and dark pink and a red thread on the neck. The dolls hair is black and has a hat in orange and yellow.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed with a pink dress on the upper half, a mix of patterned prints on the bottom half and pink socks. The doll’s hair is yellow and has a black ribbon.

Rag Doll 4 - Zuleikinha

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed with a white tank top and a light green skirt with a patterned print of angels in dark green, with a white lace frill on the hemline. The doll’s hair is yellow and has two braids, one on each side, with a red bow on each end.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed with a white lace shirt and a black skirt with a patterned print of flowers in: white, yellow, orange, light gray and pink, with a white lace frill on the hemline and a ribbon on the waist in: light green, dark green and orange. The doll’s hair is black.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed with a long sleeve shirt made of white lace and a light pink skirt with a patterned angel prints in dark pink, with a white lace frill on the hemline. The doll’s hair is black and has a beige ribbon on her forehead.

Doll made of fabric patches, dressed with a light pink cotton shirt and brown ribbon and a skirt with mixed patterns in light pink, light green, dark green, yellow, white and black. The doll’s hair is black and has two braids, one on each side, with a brown bow at the ends.
